...i was lucky enough to go to france last september with andy hillman studio to shoot a print advert for a new carolina herrera fragrance...these are some snaps of interesting things i saw...


...yes beauty salon for dogs...would quite like to own that sign...

...when we had finished shooting alex cunningham and i spent a very condensed afternoon in paris...went to lots of incredible places...


...alex took me to lots of vintage shops and to colette where i had never been before...




...la droguerie an amazing haberdashery...

...design et nature taxidermy...


...giraffe decorated in grosgrain ribbon...


...amazing rabbit puppet...


...perfectly precise trees at palais royal...


...striped marble columns at palais royal...


...bizarre shelter on the street outside the cafe where we had lunch...


...saw a few of these attached to posts...didn't dare steal one...




...went to les arts decoratifs and practically ran round the whole place trying to see everything...


...these are some of the displays that were set up around the museum...

...i think thats the closest i got to the eiffel tower...










...these last few are from the circuits ceramiques exhibition that was also showing at the museum... there was also a great fashion exhibition on but no photos were allowed which is a shame as there was so much there...






...also in the shop there were these beautiful models made from paper and wire and other odd bits and bobs they were by an artist called marie belrami..so wonderful...
